Every survey starts free. You choose whether to pay after it closes, when you have seen the headline result. The annual plan is £895 for most primaries and £1,495 for most secondaries.

What a year includes

- Every survey in the library, for staff, parents and pupils

How the band is set. All-through schools, and any school with 1,200 pupils or more, are large. Other secondaries are secondary. Other schools under 150 pupils are small. Every other primary, special school and alternative provision is in the primary band. Pupil numbers come from the schools register. If your band looks wrong, tell us.
A sum you can check. Surveying staff, parents and pupils once a term is 9 surveys a year. Bought one at a time, that is 3 full reports at £149 and 6 re-runs at £79, which comes to £921. That is more than the annual plan for the small school (£495) and primary, special and AP (£895) bands.
Follow-ups, three years and paying
Follow-up reports
A follow-up report is £79 in place of £149, for a survey of 12 questions or fewer, or for a re-run of a survey you had a report for in the previous 12 months. A re-run of a survey that only had the free result is a full report. With the annual plan, re-runs and follow-ups are included at no extra cost.
Three years, price fixed
Take the annual plan for 3 years and the price is fixed for all 3, with 10% off the total. The table above shows the 3-year total for each band. Like the one-year plan, it does not renew automatically.
How to pay
By card. Pay online when you choose the report or the plan. Reports and the annual plan are delivered straight away.
By invoice. Pay by invoice with a purchase order, on 30-day terms. Reports and the annual plan are delivered straight away.

- If your governors meet in December, a survey that opens by mid-November leaves two weeks for answers and time to read the report before the meeting.
- Next term
- A re-run within 12 months of a full report is a £79 follow-up report, and it shows what has changed since. Plan the next run when this one closes.
Trusts
Published discounts for trusts, by the number of schools taking the annual plan.

The last column applies the discount to the band for most primaries (£895 a year) as an example. Each school pays its own band, less the trust discount.
How a trust buys today
- Each school has its own account, its own results and its own annual plan.
- The trust discount is applied on invoice, on request: email hello@benchmarkpulse.co.uk with the schools taking the annual plan. A card payment online is at the full band price.
