Survey for staff

Staff exit and leavers

Why staff leave, where they go, and what might have kept them. Run it all year: the report covers a rolling 12 months so small numbers stay anonymous.

What respondents read first

Thank you for your time here. This survey is anonymous: your school cannot tell who answered. Results are combined with other leavers over a year before anyone sees them. If a comment suggests that a child or an adult may be at risk of harm, including a concern about the conduct of someone who works with children, it goes straight to the school's safeguarding lead.

How anonymity works in this survey

  • The school cannot see who answered. Nothing is reported until 5 people have answered.
  • A group, such as one role or one year group, is shown only when 10 or more people in it have answered. Smaller groups are hidden.
  • Written comments appear only once 5 people have answered.
